Drywall & interior services
Our Services
From a single wall patch to a full basement finish, B&B Drywall handles framing, drywall, finishing and the details in between for homes and businesses across Northern Virginia and the DMV.
Drywall
Drywall is the surface you live with every day, so it has to go up straight and finish smooth. We hang, tape and finish drywall for new rooms, basements, additions and commercial build-outs, with tight seams, crisp corners and walls that are ready for paint.
What we handle
Drywall installation
Standard, moisture-resistant and fire-rated board, cut clean and fastened tight to the framing.
Taping & finishing
Tape, joint compound and sanding through every coat, so seams and screws disappear after paint.
Smooth & textured walls
A smooth-wall finish for rooms with strong side light, or a match to your existing knockdown or orange-peel texture.
Basements & additions
Full rooms hung and finished from bare studs, including ceilings, soffits and window returns.
Commercial build-outs
Offices, retail and tenant spaces finished on schedule so the next trades can move in.

Framing
Every good drywall job starts with straight, square framing. We build metal and wood stud walls, soffits and room layouts that give your drywall a true surface, so corners line up, doors hang right and the finished room looks the way you pictured it.
What we handle
Metal stud framing
Light-gauge steel studs for basements and commercial spaces: straight, rot-proof and fast to install.
Wood stud framing
Traditional wood framing for new walls, closets and room additions in homes.
Soffits & bulkheads
Boxed-in framing that hides ductwork, pipes and beams for a clean ceiling line.
Room layouts & closets
New bedrooms, offices and storage built to your floor plan.
Basement walls
Framing along foundation walls, ready for insulation, wiring and drywall.

Repairs
Small damage stands out on a smooth wall. We cut out the damaged area, patch it properly and blend the finish and texture so you cannot tell where the repair was. From one doorknob hole to a ceiling opened up for a plumber, we leave it ready for paint.
What we handle
Holes & dents
Doorknob holes, anchor holes and impact damage, patched flush with the wall.
Cracks & nail pops
Settling cracks, loose tape and popped screws re-secured and refinished so they stay fixed.
Water damage
Stained or soft drywall cut out and replaced after the leak is fixed.
Ceiling patches
Openings from plumbing, electrical or HVAC work closed up and finished to match.
Texture matching
Knockdown, orange-peel or smooth finishes blended into the surrounding wall.

Remodeling
Remodeling goes smoother when one crew handles the shell of the room. We take basement finishes, room changes and interior updates from framing through drywall and finishing, so you deal with one team, one schedule and one point of contact.
What we handle
Basement finishing
Unfinished basements turned into living space, offices, gyms or guest rooms.
Room changes
New walls, closets and layouts that make an existing floor plan work better.
Kitchen & bath drywall
Moisture-resistant board and clean finishing ready for cabinets, tile and paint.
Ceiling upgrades
Tray ceilings, soffits and recessed-light layouts that change the feel of a room.
Commercial interiors
Office and retail updates completed around your business hours when needed.

Painting & Finishing
Paint shows every flaw in the surface underneath, which is why finishing and painting belong together. We prime and paint walls and ceilings, skim coat surfaces that need it and protect your space from start to cleanup, so the final coat looks even in any light.
What we handle
Interior painting
Walls and ceilings painted with clean cut-in lines along trim and corners.
Priming new drywall
The right primer on new board and patches so the finish coat dries even.
Skim coating
A thin coat of compound over damaged or uneven walls for a smooth, like-new surface.
Trim & doors
Baseboards, casing and doors painted to match the room.
Touch-ups after repairs
Patched areas finished and painted so they blend into the wall.

Acoustical Ceilings
Acoustical ceilings hide pipes and wiring, quiet a room and still give you easy access to everything above. We install level ceiling grid and acoustical tile for offices, basements and commercial spaces, with clean cuts around lights, vents and walls.
What we handle
Suspended ceiling grid
Level, square grid systems hung for offices, retail and basements.
Acoustical tile
New tile installed, or stained and sagging tiles replaced to refresh a space.
Basement drop ceilings
Lift-out panels that keep plumbing, wiring and valves easy to reach.
Lights & vents
Clean cut-ins for light fixtures, diffusers and returns.
Commercial ceilings
Office and tenant spaces finished to match building standards.

Doors & Hardware
A door that sticks, rubs or will not latch is something you notice every day. We install interior doors, trim and hardware so doors hang square, close smoothly and are finished to match the room, whether it is one closet door or a whole floor.
What we handle
Interior door installation
Pre-hung and slab doors set plumb, level and square.
Closet & bifold doors
Bifold, bypass and closet doors installed and adjusted to glide.
Locks & hardware
Knobs, levers, hinges and privacy locks installed or upgraded.
Trim & casing
Door casing and trim installed clean, caulked and ready for paint.
Door adjustments
Sticking, rubbing or non-latching doors fixed and rehung.

Residential & commercial: every service is available for homes, offices and commercial spaces across Northern Virginia and the DMV.
GOOD TO KNOW
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Every estimate is free. Tell us about the job by phone or with the form, and we will set up a time to look at it and give you a fair price before any work starts.
Do you work on homes and businesses?
Yes. We take on residential and commercial work, from a single wall repair in a home to framing and ceilings for offices and retail spaces.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Northern Virginia and serve Fairfax, Alexandria, Reston, Chantilly, Falls Church and the entire DMV: Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
How long does a drywall job take?
It depends on the size of the job. Small repairs are often done quickly, while full rooms take longer because each coat of joint compound needs time to dry before sanding and the next coat. We will give you a timeline with your estimate.
Can you match my existing wall texture?
Yes. We blend patches into smooth walls and match common textures like knockdown and orange-peel so the repair disappears.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes. We protect floors and furniture before we start and clean up the work area every day, not just at the end.
What if I am not happy with the finished work?
We are not done until you are happy with the work. Tell us what needs fixing and we will make it right before we call the job finished.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Se habla español.
